Meet Dr. Shikha Hans

Dr. Shikha Hans is the founder, owner, and sole dentist at Allwood Dental, established in 2018. Originally from Alberta, Dr. Hans has over 18 years of experience in family dental care, with more than 14 of those years serving the Abbotsford community. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in 2006. Dr. Hans remains committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements through ongoing education and training.

As a dedicated mother of two daughters, ages 13 and 8, and the wife of a CPA practicing in the Fraser Valley, Dr. Hans balances her professional life with family and personal interests. She enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, traveling, cooking, hosting gatherings, and exploring new activities. Coming from a family of dentists, she often finds lively dental discussions part of her family gatherings!

Dr. Hans is passionate about transforming the patient experience, aiming to ease the common fears associated with dental visits by providing safe, comfortable, and compassionate care. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from preventive care, fillings, and root canals to cosmetic dentistry, extractions, and Invisalign. She looks forward to meeting each patient and their families, welcoming everyone into the Allwood Dental family.
